- The Coakley Hollow area consists of four acres of land surrounded by a hiking trail. This is a great option for those that want to spot wildflowers and see the beauty surrounding the lake area.
- The Trail of Four Winds is 16.5 miles long and accommodates hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. This trail takes you though the forest and offers some of the best views that you will find of the lake and old rock quarry.
- The Fawn Ridge Trails is a dream for deer lovers as it is home to the many of these animals. A small cemetery along the trail is home to those that perished along this supply route during the Civil War.
